Today’s paper poste comes with some classic-looking invitations in fun colors from Stoney Creek, Ontario-based Rock Paper Gifts.  They specialize in unique, custom-made invitations and I, for one, am in love with the crisp folds and great layering!

I think I have adequately discussed my bordering-on-obsessive love with paper–the feel, the color, the design.  You name it.  After attending the Hamilton/Halton wedding show last weekend and meeting a few more amazing artists, I want to steer this series toward local Canadian stationers.  There are so many beautiful pieces and, since I was lucky enough to actually meet a few of these great people, I’d love for you to see their work!

I was introduced to Blush & Gray about a month ago through Wedding Obsession.  They are based out of Toronto and work very closely with a group of artisans and suppliers to be able to provide other items that coordinate with their invitation suites.  This allows you to be able to get the ribbon to perfectly match your invitation suite’s colors to match your groom’s bowtie.  How great is that?

Since I have been smitten with gold lately….

Gorgeous, right?  That save-the-date has got to be this sparkle-loving girl’s favorite thing ever right now.  Who can resist a little glitter?!

Rice.  Birdseed.  Confetti.  All have been known to be the visual celebration of a couple’s vows.  The congratulations flow after the “I do’s”, and the toss commences.  Rice has been called a detriment to birds’ health, birdseed is kind of a pain to be covered in, but confetti is fun and can be colored any way you want it!

Oooh!  I’m just so in love with the little bags of confetti for your guests to dust you in!  What do you think?  A little or a lot, you have to admit the tiny bits inspire smiles and add to the celebration of a new marriage!

Some pattern play for today.  Personally, I love patterned paper of any kind and stationary with patterns on the backside are awesome.  For business cards, why not make use of that blank side with some bright and funky or sleek and modern patterns?  It makes your piece shine even more!  I’m loving these note cards with funky patterns on the reverse.  Cover the backs of your invitations with pattern, color, and fun!  Make the most of the paper!

Wedding stationary images fire me up.  I love them and a good shot brings them to life almost as much as receiving one yourself in the mail!  Today, I bring you three images that inspired me immediately when I saw them.  From fun patterns and textures to gorgeous rich colors, these invitations are amazing.
